Nothing beats a festival quite like Noches del Bótanico Madrid with its 1+ month of music in one of the prettiest settings of Madrid, the Botanical garden. This year will be its 4th edition, with an eclectic line up, from old bands to more recent ones, satisfying all tastes of music from across the world. With Spanish bands such as Los Planetas and Ivan Ferreiro, to 80s legends like Darryl Hall & John Oates, to the noughties brit band Keane, and many, many more. With improvements this year, such as the earlier opening hours, widening of spaces and more food to cater for everyone, the 4th year will be one to remember.
This will be a big show for some fans, as Keane have gotten back together after a few years of Hiatus and will be performing new material and classics alike, to the delight of Keaners. Madness will also be attending, which is one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities, same goes for Darryl Hall & John Oates who most definitely were a band your parents loved back in the late 70s and early 80s. For guitar lovers, the legendary George Benson will be playing on the 25th of July, followed by the highly talented Chick Corea. This is just a taste of what is on offer, so we would recommend you check it out!
The festival will start on June 20th and will go on until July 31st, so you will have ample chances to attend and maybe catch one of your favourite bands during the warm summer nights of Madrid.
